CTC Cleared - Senior Finance Manager in London for Government Sector O

ROLE: SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

LOCATION: LONDON

DURATION: 12+ Months Initially with possible extension

NOTE: CTC CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

ROLES DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Ideally the post holder will be fully qualified, although in exceptional cases BDUK will consider part or non-qualified individuals with previous finance experience who meet the other criteria and would be willing to undertake further training and/or a formal qualification.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication
- Ability to relay financial information effectively to non-financial managers
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills

DESIRABLE:

- Experience and knowledge of government accounting and budgeting rules
- Previous project or programme finance experience
