ROLE: AUDITOR

LOCATION: NORWICH, NORFOLK

DURATION: 6+ Months Initially with possible extension

NOTE: CTC CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum two year's audit experience
- At least part-qualified as auditor or accountant
- An inquisitive nature with a questioning and interested mindset.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

- Experience of contract management and/or financial control gained within a large organization

ROLES
- the timely and accurate payment of invoices;
- the delivery on other framework terms and conditions; and
- the accuracy and appropriateness of charging levels to customers.
- The Supplier Auditor will be personally responsible for (largely) independently delivering a substantial portion of the overall supplier audit work programme.
- The Supplier Auditor will be responsible for end-to-end planning, conduct and reporting of audit work; and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To take ownership for the planning, delivery and reporting of your allocation of the work programme.
- Careful time management in order to maintain a high level of personal utilisation.
- Upfront engagement with relevant CCS category team to understand the framework, the supplier and wider context.
- Upfront engagement with suppliers to discuss deliverables, timescales, approach to be adopted etc.
- Desktop preparation for audit visit, including data review and analysis; and development of detailed work programme.
- Onsite audit visit (usually one full day, occasionally two) to conduct fieldwork in line with standardised methodology; using initiative and asking pertinent questions where required.
- Documenting fieldwork and findings and drafting report and recommendations.
- Engaging in the internal quality assurance process, responding openly to feedback and comments from those reviewing work and draft report.
- Delivering draft report to category teams, explaining and exploring findings as required.
