Full Time, Fixed Term (24 months)
Grade G: £36,309 - £45,954 per annum

An opportunity has arisen to join the IT and Media Services (ITMS) Directorate, you will be working with the CSM Business Intelligence and Business Process teams at an exciting time of investment and modernisation at DMU.

The Technical Lead works within the CSM BI project team and provides leadership and coordination of all technical aspects of systems development activities required to provide a productive and efficient system.

Responsible for the data migration activity from De Montfort University's (DMU's) legacy systems into target core system, as part of the Core System Modernisation Programme. You will be leading a team of Data Analysts and developers to create a stable and scalable platform for Data Transformation.

You must have extensive Data Warehouse and BI experience, in depth experience of working in a Project Management and Data Migration environment; extensive experience in ETL workbench using: SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft; experience in following Data Governance, Processes and Protocols as well as Business Intelligence.

You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to present clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels in an often pressured, high profile environment.
