My client a leader in the Telecom industry is urgently looking for a CSA/Architect Network - Security.

Job description

As integration Architect ("Customer Solution Architect") you will have major integration projects in 1 or leading several of these domains: networking, security, cloud, Unified Communication ... You do not need expert knowledge in all these technological domains. The person we are looking for to be, has a good knowledge of IT networking, experience in engineering or architecture in one of above domains and a good understanding of the other domains. With your technical leadership and the cooperation of experts, we can then start looking for an end-to-end integrated solution. You are also the trusted technical point of contact for the customer in collaboration with the Project Manager and our dedicated teams.

Context

Our department works exclusively for the top 30 customers. We work with a team of senior architects who have gained on-the-field experience in ICT during their career. We know the daily reality in the context of executing projects, the daily operations and the support the customers and have a broad focus on all ICT domains. We lead leading large and very large projects such as:

The design of new WAN, MAN and wireless networks

Sites with high reliability and availability

Public and private Cloud

Workplace management for 100,000 users for their laptops and mobile phones

Migrations and setting up DRP sites

Radio network, Unified Communications The customer environment includes the following equipment: Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Routers, Cisco Wireless Lan controllers, Cisco ISE, Riverbed, Zscaler, Fortigate, HPN

Role and responsibilities:

A successful Customer Solution Architect is able to carry out the following tasks:

During the pre-sales phase, you create a design and an estimate of the workload at a high level.

As soon as the project is sold, you will design a detailed solution.

o Based on the design and explanation of the pre-sales team, you set up a plan in close cooperation with the project manager.

o You make further agreements with the customer and the operational teams about the requirements, supported by the Service Delivery Manager.

o In order to build an end-to-end solution, you go into consultation with the technology experts

o You prepare the technical document that contains the building blocks of the solution (diagrams and text).

o You submit this solution to the customer for approval. You will work together with the Project Manager for this.

During the execution, you solve any problems together with the Engineers and the Project Manager: new requirements, components that do not work as expected, changing requirements, etc.

You win the trust of the customer through the months in which you work together and you can formulate technical advice and recommendations to the customer.

Profile

You have sufficient knowledge of IT networks.

You have either a broad knowledge of multiple domains in the ICT world (networks, security, systems, Cloud, Unified Communications) or a thorough knowledge in one of these domains.

You have already made technical designs for large projects.

You have at least 7 years of experience in the ICT world. You have excellent communication skills and you are customer-oriented

You work with your colleagues and quickly get the information you need from the technology experts.

You are able to work independently

You read and speak Dutch and English.

Advantages for the application (optional)
o You have good knowledge in security.
o You have already taken a leading role in architecture or design.
o You have already participated in migration projects.
o You have a broad knowledge of multiple technologies and have already worked with integration projects.
o You are certified in CISCO (CCNP or CCIE) or have the same level of experience.
o You are able to read an RFP and formulate a technical answer.
