Cryptographic Developer/Technical Specialist

THE COMPANY

Our Federal Government client is currently looking for a Cryptographic Developer/Technical Specialist to join their large team in the Canberra location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the support, maintenance and enhancement of a large system which provides for the single secure sign-on for government-to-government and business-to-government online services. In additional to that, you will be the technical specialist in Cryptographic and Cryptographic standards and as part of that, will be sharing your knowledge and expertise to other members in your team.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

* Extensive, expert-level experience in cryptography and cryptographic standards
* Demonstrated ability to undertake complex application development and programming in the area of Digital Certificate and Cryptology technologies
* Demonstrated expert level of skills with XML, Web Services and related Security standards including MTOM, SAML, WS-Security
* Demonstrated expert level of skills in one or more of the following language: Java, .NET (C#) & C++.
* Demonstrated expert level of skills with software development on Windows, Linux (Ubuntu), and Apple Mac
* Demonstrated expert level of skills with software development on Browsers using HTML and JavaScript.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

* Working knowledge of the AUSkey system
* Previous provision of sound architectural and design principles around security based technology
