CRM Support Analyst/Software Developer

Our client, a global engineering company based in Renfrewhire have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM Support Analyst/Software Developer. A fixed term contract until December 2013.

Main Purpose of Job

- To provide support for the maintenance and development of the CRM product (Sage SalesLogix) This role will include responsibility for software development, user support and guidance, testing and documentation, in line with a defined software development life cycle and set of standards.
- The primary development and support focus will be on maintaining and developing the CRM system and associated peripheral software products (reports, dashboards, Business process tool) functionality in line with business requirements.

Accountabilities

- To develop Sage SalesLogix (CRM) software in line with customer requirements and software development standards
- To support the management of global application issues through following structured helpdesk processes, maintaining case records and completing the required development documentation
- Responding to calls in accordance with the agreed service SLAs or escalate effectively to the Global CRM Systems Manager when SLA achievement is not possible
- To develop and support peripheral CRM applications to meet on-going support SLAs
- To provide assistance to the global user community on system usage, report creation and support procedure(s)

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of one year as a software developer
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of Visual Basic
- Experience of SQL Server (TSQL, stored procedures, triggers)
- Good written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Experience of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, QlikView, SQLRS
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
