CRM Software Engineer

Our very high-visibility client is migrating one of its Siebel instances from one data center to another. We are looking for a CRM SOFTWARE ENGINEER that could assist with coordinating this migration. The expectations of this role include the coordination with the project management, Siebel development, QA, integration, boundary applications, security teams, engineering, operations and business users to plan and orchestrate the migration.

A typical CRM Engineer would bring strong hands-on technical engineering skills and would understand, plan, and execute with a strong focus on balancing risks and value. The CRM Engineer would have to work with on-shore and off-shore system integrators, internal staff, and business users to manage the migration in a timely manner. The CRM Engineer should identify risks proactively and develop remediations. The CRM Engineer is expected to exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
- 7+ years' experience required
- Expert in Siebel CRM with working knowledge of SQL, Perl and Oracle 11g
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend system changes as needed to resolve issues
- Expert knowledge of the full software development life cycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery

*Must sit onsite in Foster City. Duration of assignment: 12 months with possible extension.
