CRM Programme Manager

My client, in the Telecoms industry, is looking for a CRM Programme Manager for a 6 month contract. This is a salaried position not a daily rate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The main elements of this role are to translate business objectives into a programme plan of technical and operational projects to deliver business Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results. Drive the delivery of programmes in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Ensure high impact and timely communication with key stakeholders across the business.
Lead the organisation and third parties in ensuring programme solutions are fit for purpose and business case targets are achieved. End to end accountability for budget management.

Responsibilities

Work closely with senior stakeholders across the company to identify opportunities to meet business goals. Champion programme goals throughout the business
Develop a programme plan of both operational and capital projects that will deliver the required KPI results. Ensure outcomes (ie product performance, operational cost savings) are delivered, and measure results. Adjust plans as required.
Maintain customer-centric thinking throughout
Ensure effective stakeholder management across the company, including regular communication of programme status to stakeholders, business owners & senior management
Manage the priorities across the programme portfolio, and within the context of company priorities. Monitor and updating plans where necessary to maintain the programme objectives. Remove roadblocks for project managers, and support their management of risks and issues.
Manage the programme's CAPEX budget, forecasting, allocation to project managers and suppliers, monitoring their performance and ensuring the best value is achieved.
Monitor overall progress and working with the Project Managers, initiate corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverables are produced on time, within budget and to the desired specification.
Work with Project Managers and other Programme Managers to identify opportunities to improve process and communications between functional areas
Undertake some project management as required

SKILLS/BACKGROUND

Extensive end-to-end programme management experience in a fast paced changing environment (ideally telecommunications) and exposure to a Cross Functional environment.
Proficient in Relationship Management - ideally within a multi stakeholder environment
Ability to understand organisation's policy framework, management structure and reporting procedures for all aspects of the programme environment.
Broadly skilled in information and communications technology and has a comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life-cycles
Proficient in financial budget management.
Expert in Programme Management Principles, methods, techniques and tools.
Familiar with methods and techniques for preparing business cases/proposals including invitations to tender and statements of requirements both orally and in writing.
Proficient in Project risk and issue management
