Creo MBD Consultant- Aberdeen MBD CAD, 3D Models, Mechanical Design

A Creo MBD Consultant is required to work on a 12 month contract based in Aberdeen

Overview of the Creo MBD contract role
Responsible for the following:
Development of Digital Transformation strategy using MBE concepts
Interaction with Design Engineers, Support functions and other stake holders for strategy development & execution
Deployment of the MBE rollout strategy for engineering teams
Support Creo Performance Improvement programmes, Engineering Automation initiatives
Interact with Engineering users to identify pain points related to Creo usage & performance

Key skills required for the Creo MBD Consultant
Technical/Functional Skills
Highly experienced & well versed MBE Concepts & Application
Well versed in Creo MBD modules- PMI, Interference checks, Stackup analysis etc
Highly competent in generating 3D models, assemblies & detailed mechanical drawings using Creo
Awareness and understanding on Creo Best practices & Large assembly Management
Good Understanding on GD&T scheme and its usage in heavy engineering components
Good understanding on Mechanical Engineering concepts

Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering

The role is based in Aberdeen, which is commutable from Elgin, Dundee, Stonehaven and Fraserburgh in Scotland
