Credit Valuation Analyst/Manager

Our client, a large financial services company, is currently recruiting for a number of Credit Valuation Analysts and Managers to be based in London on initial 6 month contracts. These roles will sit within the Planning and Analytics Business Team.

Experience:

*Relevant experience developing and running complex models or databases in multiple asset classes that support transactions and valuations
*Majority of work will be in the credit/Fixed Income space, but a solid understanding of equities, FX and rates is essential
*A degree in a numerate discipline and/or post graduate management qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPFA, MBA) and a working knowledge of accountancy and corporate finance
*Undertaking valuation, credit and capital modelling
*Track record of effectiveness within a professional environment, where planning and interpersonal skills were critical to success
*Review/due diligence and approve valuation methodologies and conclusions
*Work with regulatory advisory, finance and the metrics/MI team

Technical Capabilities:

*Ability to analyse complex information including numerical analysis, present key conclusions and withstand challenge
*Strong knowledge of financial instruments and products
*An understanding of regulatory concepts and regulatory economic capital
*Microsoft Excel expert and working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and other relevant database/modelling tools
*Understanding of corporate finance principles that support internal valuations
*Good understanding of international financial activities in large corporate organisations
