Credit Trading Support Manager

A Global London based investment bank are looking to hire a Support Manager to work within the Credit Trading team. The ideal candidate will be a strong application support analyst that wants to Lead a global team dedicated to the support of the Credit Trading business.

Responsibilities:
- Contact for the Front and Middle Office providing both business and technical support, covering the core trading applications used within the Credit Trading.
- Must be able to understand a trading system from a functional aspect and align this with the business model.
- Ability to understand, troubleshoot and propose and act upon resolution of business and application requests/faults raised through the Remedy ticketing system in a timely manner.
- Participate in application releases including testing, release procedures, liaison with development, infrastructure and user testing.
- Ensure support team's global knowledge base is updated with new or amendments to existing documents to enhance the knowledge base of the overall team.

Essential Skills:
- Credit derivatives business knowledge and product range to include vanilla CDS, index CDS, index tranche CDS, Loan CDS, Loan Index CDS, corporate bonds and cash loans
- Familiar with basic risk and pnl calculations and basic financial mathematics
- Support management experience in a Global Investment bank
- Thorough understanding of the financial markets and current regulations
- SQL and unix Scripting skills
