Credit Risk Manager - Temporary Role - the City, London

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primarily to undertake CREDIT ANALYSIS requirements for COUNTERPARTY RISK. Counterparties will principally be Financial Institutions and NBFIS (including regulated funds, pension funds, and insurance companies)
- Proactive risk management of the counterparty credit risk (covering counterparty PROBABILITY of default and counterparty exposure).
- Review transaction approval requests
- Offer insight into issuer risk positions, as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of derivatives and traded products
- Significant experience in credit risk management; with a specific focus on analysing Banks and Insurance Companies.
- Product knowledge desirable (DERIVATIVES and REPO).
- Excellent EXCEL skills
- Experience in BASEL requirements for credit risk
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to manage a large workload with conflicting deadlines
