Credit Risk Manager

Credit Risk Manager - 6 Month contract - Manchester

Our client is a brand new player in the financial industry, this is an exciting time in the industry and they are looking for an experienced credit risk manager to join them in their early stages.

- To provide specialist credit expertise and in depth analysis of complex and high risk transactions originating from all areas within the bank. Attend and present at Credit Committee meetings as required.
- To be involved in the initial strategic development of this function.
- To assist with the mitigation of credit risk in an advisory capacity, working alongside RMs on structured and complex transactions, ensuring inherent risks are correctly identified, quantified and managed.
- To support Risk Management's activities to ensure that the bank is protected, as far as possible, against potential losses arising from credit, political or other risk, while balancing the need to generate income. Ensuring that coherent and effective authorities and procedures are in place and applied across the bank.
- To undertake ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Credit.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Credit Risk Analysis experience essential
- Trade Finance experience essential
- Educated to a Degree level
- Relevant professional qualifications preferred
