Credit Risk Manager

I am currently recruiting a Credit Risk Manager. The opportunity is located in New York City with a global financial institution. This individual will participate in the day to day oversight and reporting of risk in the Prime Services division for all credit areas. The areas where you will be focusing you attention will include Corporate, Structured Products, Government/Agency, and Emerging Market fixed income. In addition, this individual will be responsible for overviewing margin models, meeting with clients in order to determine both risk and margin frameworks. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Quantitative knowledge of credit and derivative products and a deep understanding of market risk and credit risk for reporting. * Create simple approximation models to complex phenomenon. * Bound and understand financial products and to understand * Analyze macro-economic events and the impact those events may have on the markets. * Present margin and risk models to clients * Assist in enhancement of the sales effort to clients We are seeking a risk management profession with a MS or higher degree in a finance or quantitative field with at least 3+ years experience in the finance industry. Experience in a quantitative discipline, risk management, or trading is essential coupled with program knowledge of C/C++/C#, VB, F# or similar. Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented environment, excellent communication and presentation skills, and exposure to emerging markets is highly desirable.
