OVERVIEW

Our client, a major UK retail bank, require the services of a Business Analyst to redevelop the personal current account overdraft proposition.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- To assess the impact of the new proposition on credit risk strategies and impairment.
- Restate the impairment charge and write offs observed based on new proposition
- Assess the risk lending landscape to size the project opportunity
- Model the impact on lending, unplanned/within limits, and risk strategies
- Build loss forecasts to NPV models
- Assess impact of proposition on collections strategy

CORE SKILLS

- Unsecured credit risk
- Impairment experience
- SAS/SQL advanced

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Personal Current Account/Overdraft experience.
- Credit risk modelling (scorecard building, provision models, forecasting models)
