CREDIT RISK ANALYST - SAS - MORTGAGES

Based in PENDEFORD a CREDIT RISK ANALYST is required on a CONTRACT basis to work with a MORTGAGE CREDIT RISK TEAM and improve processes and controls across the end to end BUY TO LET NEW BUSINESS PROCESSES for a major FS client.

Candidates must possess a good understanding of credit risk and data analysis skills. At least 3 years + experience with SAS (ideally SAS MACROS). Understanding of Mortgage lending strategies, ideally buy to let.

You will be required to demonstrate the ability to deal with large volumes of data across multiple systems with a view to becoming an SME expert in mortgage data. Ability to evaluate trends and key performance indicators as well as develop upon the existing MI. Evaluate credit risk portfolio and provide recommendations to amend front book, new lending strategies and credit policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
