Credit Risk Analyst

This individual will be responsible for the evaluation of risk/exposure management of credits within the North American Healthcare sector. You will ensure the continued growth of the business without incurring unmanageable risks. The focus of this role will be to engage in assessing and making recommendations of proposals received from business development/product areas staying current with financial analysis and risk profile of the assigned sector, borrowers and counterparties and alerting senior management to negative developments and trends within the assigned sectors. Requirements: * Bachelor degree in finance or comparable field * MBA Preferred * 3-5 years experience in a commercial or investment bank covering both investment grade and leveraged and/or sub-investment grade clients * 3+ years experience in corporate credit analysis including leveraged corporate/financial institutions/structured credit, documentation issues and capital markets * Strong written and verbal presentations skills * Experience in the Healthcare sector, including pharmaceutical, medical devices, acute care, managed care, alternative site sub-sectors * Knowledge of Loan, High Yield and derivatives documentation. * Experience with worksheet-based financial modeling and analysis of financial projections Credit Risk- Counterparty Credit Risk- Credit Analysis- Risk Reporting- Healthcare sector- MBA- High Yield- New York City
