Credit Pricing Analyst

CREDIT PRICING & PROFITABILITY ANALYST/LONDON/TIER 1 BANK/£250 - £300 PER DAY

ESSENTIAL:

- Familiar with the Personal and Corporate Banking (PCB) suite of lending products as well as supporting systems and operations, to understand all relevant aspects of credit pricing and to competently handle day-to-day queries on credit pricing model from Credit Structurers and client-facing Private Bankers.
- A high degree of numeracy, advanced VBA Excel skills and Access Database.
- Some project management and business analysis experience would be beneficial.
- Prior knowledge of credit products and evolving trends in the industry.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Banking/Financial Services experience.

ROLE:

- The Credit Pricing Analyst will support the Credit Pricing & Profitability Manager in the implementation of the credit pricing strategy that helps create value for the banks shareholders.
- The Credit Pricing & Profitability team has developed a sophisticated Excel-based model to assist a global community of Private Bankers (PB) and Debt Structurers (DS) to structure their price and deals. The model links to an Access database.
- One of the key aspects of the role is to support the Credit Pricing Approval (CPA) process and its central database as well as leading of the planned migration of the model onto the Corporate Banking platform.
- The role involves interaction with a diverse set of global stakeholders in areas such as Credit Structuring, Finance, Treasury, Credit Risk, Credit Operations, Legal and Compliance.
