Credit Controller - Law Firm - Manchester

My client is a leading law firm, and their Manchester office is currently looking for a Credit Controller for a fixed term contract of around 9 - 12 months to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a candidate whom is capable of collecting outstanding debt in line with the credit policy of the firm.

Your responsibilities shall involve:

*Ensure debts are paid on time
*Chase overdue invoices
*Maintain accurate records of chasing activity on a database
*Handle disputed bills and negotiate payment terms
*Provide advice on billing queries
*General administration duties

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of working within a busy credit control department, if you have worked within a law firm previously then this would be a huge advantage, but it is not an essential requirement for the role.

It would be beneficial to have a good understanding of MS Word, Excel and Crystal Reports.
