Credit Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CREDIT CONTROLLER to join our Regional Accountancy Centre based in Halesowen on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be responsible for liaising with our customers, ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner and managing customers credit facilities.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACHIEVING THE FOLLOWING:- - To collect payments promptly and ensure policy guides are adhered to
- To communicate regularly with the bank and dealerships
- To ensure good bank/dealership relations
- To act promptly to resolve bank/dealership issues/queries
- To ensure that credit control accounts are reconciled
- To ensure that the credit control ledger is maintained
- To ensure that all processes, systems etc. follow the agreed implementation and standards

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

This is very hands-on role and the person appointed will:

- Have relevant experience in a similar position in a busy accounts department
- Ideally be experienced in sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Have excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills
- Have a flexible attitude
- Have good attention to detail
