Credit Controller - 1 Year Contract

1 YEAR MATERNITY COVER CONTRACT STARTING FROM MID JUNE. £16K PER ANNUM PRO RATA.

My client based in the Grays, Essex area is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their busy Finance Department as a Credit Controller, on a 1 year maternity cover contract.

JOB PURPOSE:

Managing all aspects of credit control, ensuring payments are received according to deadlines and ensuring all financial information is accurate and up to date.

HOURS:

Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17:30

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensuring payments from customers and trade partners are receieved on time
- Dealing with all payment queries
- General ad hoc duties within the Finance Department
- Communicating by phone and email in a firm but professional manner
- Dealing with challenging situations, professionally and effectively

FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

- Some experience in credit control - preferable
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Ablity to work under pressure
- Proactive and enthusiastic
- Team player but also available to work on own initiative
- Well presented
- Flexible approach to working hours - available to do overtime if neccesary
