Credit and Collections Clerk in a Managed Care Setting Job

CLAIMS AND COLLECTION IN A MANAGED CARE SETTING needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Mission Hills, CA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Must have HMO, PPO, MediCare and Medi-Cal terminology/government billing regulations
- Must have at least two - five (2-5) years of Claims and Collection experience in a Managed Care Setting
- Knowledgeable of CPT4, HCPCS, ICD-9-CM Codes, ICD-10-CM Codes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Primary responsibilities include expertise in Commercial, Medi-Cal, Medicare billing and follow-up.
- Ability to identify payment discrepancies and pursue payment recovery through the appeals process
- Knowledgeable of CPT4, HCPCS, ICD-9-CM Codes, ICD-10-CM Codes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have HMO, PPO, MediCare and Medi-Cal terminology/government billing regulations
- Must have at least two - five (2-5) years of Claims and Collection experience in a Managed Care Setting
- Knowledgeable of CPT4, HCPCS, ICD-9-CM Codes, ICD-10-CM Codes.
- Applicant should have strong analytical skills and be proficient with spreadsheet, word processing, and database software
- Ability to identify payment discrepancies and pursue payment recovery through the appeals process
- Excellent interpersonal skills and phone manners. Excellent organizational skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite with such programs as Word and Excel
