Credit and Collections Analyst Job

CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SILVER SPRING, MD

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage all collections activity for the assigned portfolio of customers to include Ad Sales, International Programming, or Digital Media in a fast paced, high volume, highly visible environment.
- Prioritize aged receivables based on collections policy and work closely with manager to identify any high risk customers based on payment trend and other financial and non-financial indicators.
- Identify, escalate and resolve any discrepancies while working closely with the sales and accounting teams to ensure timely dispute resolution.
- Includes processing refunds, write offs and any other appropriate account adjustments.
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with both internal and external customers by providing superior customer service.
- Discuss collections issues in monthly meetings with business partners and develop action plans to determine best resolution.
- Work closely with Cash Application team to ensure all payments are accurately applied in a timely fashion.
- Manage rotational duties for customer service hotline and inbox by responding to all inquiries within 48 hours.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2) or more years prior professional work experience
- BA or BS Degree

BONUS POINTS

- Cable and/or media industry experience
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup and Embedded formulas etc.)
