Credit Analyst - Risk - Credit Risk - Risk Analyst - Analyst

Credit risk analyst required to work for a global software company on a contract basis. As a credit risk analyst you will act as a point of escalation to our clients payments risk team and analyse data to identify fraud and financial loss. The Risk Analyst will create and implement plans for high risk customers and apply detailed understanding of payments industry knowledge to developing new operating mechanisms.

Our clients current customer base is currently 6000 but is growing rapidly, you will develop and prioritise recommendations for product improvements alongside this growth and perform root cause analysis of losses.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Background in credit cards payments industry, risk management or similar
- Retail banking or corporate/merchant payments exposure
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to apply knowledge to the decision making process
- Commitment to personal high standards proven by the desire and ability to contribute to team and company goals.
- The ability to analyse data, develop recommendations and influence decision makers.
- Ideally previous experience of credit or credit risk analysis.
