Credit Analyst - Credit Risk/Margining Desk

Our client a global oil/gas/trading organisation is looking for a Credit Analyst to join their team in London for an initial 8 month contract opportunity.

The role with principally be operating the collateral management process which includes the sending of margin requests and liaising with external counterparties to ensure appropriate collateral is received and sent in response to market price movements. With the process migrating to an offshore location towards the latter stage of 2015 the individual will also be involved in ensuring policy and procedures are carefully mapped and assist in the handover of this process to the new respective team.

In addition, the individual will have responsibility to operate the clients Credit Monitoring process which includes providing advice to traders on the availability of open Credit and where not available requesting some form of Credit mitigation via a number of different tools. Ad hoc operational processes will also be included in this role to help support the Credit function within London here.
