WHOLESALE CREDIT ANALYST/CREDIT ANALYST/WHOLESALE ANALYST

Our client, a world leading investment bank and insurance house, is currently recruiting for a Wholesale Credit Analyst on a 3 month contract, with a possibility for extension, based in London.

Key deliverables:

Background

To support the Lead Manager:

- Day to day analytical support of the RD&R Wholesale Credit Risk Remediation Log investigation activities
- Gather and Document Business Requirements for Remediation Log entries, including Use Cases
- Undertake current state analysis
- Work with Designers to produce high level E2E solutions, taking ownership if required
- Ensure Lead Manager is properly briefed for working groups
- Support engagement with platform delivery teams

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ideally a candidate with previous RBS experience of delivery on Risk Platform, Frank, or GRDW - these are all RBS specific platforms.

Candidate who have had functional design experience would be advantageous as they will be working closely with designers to produce E2E solution designs.

EXPERIENCE:

- Ability to identify issues and trends from information & assist in the design and delivery of solutions
- Ability to represent the Bank's Wholesale Credit Risk interests at internal/external meetings
- Good appreciation of the principles and operation of RBS Wholesale Credit Risk systems, processes/procedures, policies and structures
- Good appreciation of the principles and operation of the bank's Regulatory Capital calculation and reporting systems, processes/procedures, policies and structures
- Relevant specialist knowledge and/or experience as required for the specific position
- Ability to run queries, create and use databases using standard PC packages appropriate to role
- Ability to use appropriate project management tools to input to or deliver small projects
- Develop and work to a personal development plan reflective of your personal needs to improve and deliver agreed objectives ideally aligned to helpful banking
- Delivery of added value through identification and formation of strong relationships with internal and external parties
- Works in an organised manner, establishes milestones and regularly reviews progress keeping line management informed as appropriate
- Consistently looks beyond the accepted ways of doing things to provide effective and practical business solutions
- Identify control risks in existing/proposed systems, processes and policies and ensure that they are communicated to department management/senior management
- Uses knowledge of RBS UK Wholesale Credit Risk and Regulatory Capital systems, processes and policies to provide creative/innovative suggestions
- Uses appropriate vocabulary and communication channels to effectively convey information
- Communicates work with customers in a way that maximises their participation/buy-in, resulting in strong feedback/support for Project/task delivery
