Credentialing Coordinator Job

CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Credentialing Experience
- Managed Care Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for all aspects of credentialing/recredentialing providers, to include but not limited to verification of application/documents, mailing of requests for consideration, initial applications, approval, denial, termination letters, and accurately loading provider information in the Credentialing database
- Responsible for updating database and communicating provider changes to contracted health plans and client's departments via standardized report(s)
- Responsible for accurate input and modifications to the credentialing database, which includes performing audits to assure accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS Degree or equivalent combination of health care experience and education
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Credentialing, preferably in Managed Care setting
- Working Knowledge of IDX and Visual Cactus desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
- Ability to use independent judgment
