Craftsman (Electrical Maintenance)

Craftsman urgently required for this large site in Walsall.

This is a electrically biased maintenance position therefor previous experience of carrying out electrical building maintenance.

You will be responsible for calibration and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment.

Core skills will include, but are not limited to, (subject to specialist training), undertaking the installation, modification to maintenance and repair of the following:

Emergency generator testing.
Fire alarm systems.
Security systems.
Nurse call systems.
Medical air and vacuum plant.
Hospital beds, trolleys and other associated electrical equipment.
Building Management System and all associated controlled equipment.
All general electrical site services and associated plant and equipment.
Portable appliance testing.
To work in accordance with all relevant guidance documents such as, but not limited to:17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers, Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH, Part 'P' of Building Regulations and all other statutory instruments and guidance documents.

May also be required to cover rotating shifts normally covered by shift technicians during periods of annual leave or sickness, sometimes at short notice, during 'in-hours' or 'out of hours' periods. Relevant PPE provided.

This is a temporary to permanent role.

Experience of working in Healthcare advantageous.
