Craft Technician

Global Pharma/Animal Health company seeks a Craft Technician for an initial 6 month contract. This is a day based role.

You role will be to carry out planned maintenance and repair of established equipment and production lines within relevant cGMP Engineering and Site and Company Safety Standards.

You will be also carry out planned maintenance and corrective repairs for both manufacturing and auxiliary systems. Supporting the maintenance of equipment to allow throughput targets and equipment availability is a key driver for the role.

This will all be delivered with the support of appropriate paper and electronic record keeping.

In addition you will support the delivery of HSE activities and requirements (eg Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, and Incident Reporting etc). You will also investigate equipment failures and support activities to improve equipment reliability.

To be successful you will be a time-served Electrical or Instrumentation Technician or similar. You will have experience of maintenance practices in a cGMP regulated environment.

You will also have great written and verbal communication skills and be familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety requirements.

You will also be confident planning, prioritising and carrying out a demanding workload in a team environment where shared deadlines and schedules need to be met.
