CQV Transition Engineer

We are seeking a Transition Engineer for Lab Office and Canteen (LOC). for our biopharmaceutical client in Ireland. This position will ensure a seamless transition from the Design phase into Construction and through the CQV Phase.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and be responsible for CQV review of all Equipment Packages, Vendor Data Requirements (VDR) and detailed Table of Contents (TOC) for both Vendor Packages and Construction stick-built packages.
- Liaise with Construction Management firm to ensure all quality objectives are being met in relation to pre-construction readiness (review of Quality Plan, Construction Check sheets).
- Assist Blended Project Team in relation to Receipt Verification (RV), in both Plan development, setting up for RV and RV execution.
- Align with QA and Lead Vendor Assessments for all Direct Impact Vendors, performing detailed assessment at vendor's premises, ensure all quality objectives are met and any items found are tracked to closure.
- Pre Mechanical Completion, responsible for the reviewing of all VTOP and FTOP, in readiness of IQ checks.
- Assist CQV review on all Isometrics, Weld logs, Weld Qualifications, 3rd Party Inspections, Material of Construction, Redlining exercise and walk down coordination for LOC.
- Coordinate punch-list close-out for all systems, aligning with the CM pre-M/C and CQV Teams post M/C and up until PQ complete (for Utilities and Process Support Equipment only for LOC).
- Support CQV LOC Work streams in relation to field execution and document review and approval
- LOC CQV Interface with EIDA/or Master Project Database equivalent system, perform weekly reviews of systems; ensure all objectives are met in relation to input and output from system.
- Once M/C is achieved, lead implementation of Blue Tag process, which concludes with LOC Turnover to the Operations Group.
- Liaise with Lead Scheduler to ensure all relevant LOC milestones and durations are captured and tracked in the Master Project Schedule.
- Liaise with all Project Groups (Design/CM/CQV/Automation/Process/SMEs/Ops/Maintenance/PMs) to ensure LOC Transition and Blue Tag process is being adhered too.
- Attend Weekly Transition/Blue Tag Meeting and issue out Action Report, ensuring all LOC items are addressed appropriately.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Minimum of 8years of Transition experience including experience with design and construction projects for LABs
- Minimum 8years experience in Transition/Blue Tag Teams
- Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
- Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff.
- Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
- Computer skills (Primavera, Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
