Projektbeschreibung

My client, a leading Tier 1 Bank, is looking for a qualified Cost Project Accountant to join their Group Funding Division for a long term contract. The ideal candidate must have multiple years experience within a Cost Transformation Project, ideally with strong exposure to a variety of banking products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the overall Governance process for all projects submitted to the Cost Board as part of the Transform CTA and Cross Group Funded processes.
- Support the quarterly CTA attestation process.
- Support Relationship Managers to obtain project level information for both CTA and SI Strategic Investments" - including Cross Group Funded initiatives.
- Perform monthly data collection review and analytics
- Support the O&T Finance Projects team through the provision of governance for all projects submitted to the Cost Board as part of CTA and Cross Group Funding initiatives.
- Ensure all approved business cases are reported in the monthly data collection exercise. Flagging out of governance spend.
- Support O&T Finance Projects team ad hoc requests in addition to daily deliverables
- Conduct monthly control checks and finance analysis on portfolio movements.
- Escalate issues as required.
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Framework and internal banking Policies and Standards.

ESSENTIAL

- An individual with strong finance experience, with the drive to deliver results on both planned and unplanned deliverables.
- In depth experience and understanding of finance processes/controls.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Self starter with a good eye for detail, with proven ability to challenge decision making.
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in order to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
- Strong communication skills to ensure effective liaison with peers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities, to ensure that diverse tasks are managed and delivered to agreed timescales and standards.
