Cost Optimisation Programme Lead (Utilities)

 A leading Energy company based in London are looking for Cost/Revenue Lead with experience in leadership position in power distribution sector in the UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Overall responsibility for delivering the project & Accountability for savings targets to be delivered to the customer
- Review overall performance of the programme
- Provide status updates to the customer team
- Review of the operational savings progress
- Day to monitoring and status reporting to leadership
- Status updates to customer Leadership and executive management team (Director level and above)
- Monitoring the savings tracking
- Identifying solutions to potential operational bottlenecks in the deployment of generators
- Leading the deployment of the new business process and the controls needed in UK Power Network
- Influence the customer stakeholders for positive outcome and success of the programme
- Energise and motivate project team (Customer and our resources)
- Overall team management
- Project Coordination
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Excellent Financial skills - ability to work with numbers, costs and saving

EXPERIENCE

- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
- Proactively monitor costs and savings (experience having delivered £5,000,000 and above annually)
- Ability to undertake strategic customer studies, DILO (Day in the life of) assessments, strategic operational efficiency improvement programmes
- Experience and knowledge of the power distribution sector
- Excellent understanding of field operations in the power distribution sector and mobile generation
- Excellent understanding of RIIO and regulatory frameworks in Power Distribution
- Match resources to work programmes in a timely manner
- Maintain strong lines of communication
- Initiate & encourage continual improvement

- Programme Management, Team Management, Leadership roles and experience delivering savings to businesses
- MS Office
- Tool sets to analyse team productivity and suggest improvements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Senior Management engagement & interaction experience

UK CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED
