Cost Engineer
Contract duration: 12 Months
Location: Gatwick, Surrey

The Role
You will be responsible on behalf of the project manager for cost control of all projects and programmes ranging from £1M to Circa £15M. You will be responsible for liaising with the project team, to implement and develop cost effective estimation, control and assurances, ensuring all targets are met within each project time frame.

You will responsible for all cost reporting, from contractor progress, contractor applications for payment, cost forecasting and all matters relating to each projects expenditure, which you will present at monthly Project Management meetings.

You will be responsible for maintaining the project Risk and Opportunity Register, monitoring the value of Risk/Opportunity with cost consequences.

The Candidate
You will be degree educated and ideally a member of a professionally recognised cost organisation, with proven experience within a Cost or Commercial environment within a construction or infrastructure environment working with high value projects. You must be IT Literate, with the ability to raise and record information on in house SAP systems.
