Cost Engineer

Cost Engineer - Nuclear - Contract - Cumbria

My client requires Cost Engineers to work within the nuclear industry located in Cumbria. You would be working on a whole range of projects within their portfolio including new build and decommissioning.

You would be required to carry out all tasks associated with a cost engineering role including preparing, monitoring and forecasting baselines during all project phases, as well as expenditure profiles and the provision of accruals.

You would be responsible for preparing cost reports and the maintenance of cost control databases (PRISM). All forecasts are maintained within financial limits, and preparing an EAC report for review and approval. Applying the risk process, and providing project outruns against the baseline for LFE and Knowledge Management.

To be successful in this cost engineer position you must have:
-Several years' experience in a cost engineer position, ideally you should have spent time within the nuclear industry or on another highly regulated site.
-Experience using SAP/other financial software
-Proficiency in project control processes and systems

This is an excellent opportunity for a long term cost engineering contract, working on interesting work.
