COST AND SCHEDULE INTEGRATOR - EARNED VALUE REPORTS, MICROSOFT PROJECT, COST MANAGEMENT

A Cost and Schedule Integrator with - Earned Value Reports, Microsoft Project, Cost Management skills/experience is required to work on a twelve month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Lancashire

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team within the role of Cost and Schedule Integrator. The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar environment with knowledge of cost and scheduling operations.

OVERVIEW OF THE COST AND SCHEDULE INTEGRATOR CONTRACT ROLE

- Generate weekly spend data and monthly Earned Value Reports for reviews with the Control Account Managers (CAM) and Programme Management.
- Ensure timely incorporation of baseline change requests into both the schedule and the baseline budget.
- Ensure timely provision of Cost Collection Numbers and champion the application of correct governance procedures.
- Maintain accurate and reliable project data and ensure there is consistency across all toolsets, including: - Microsoft Project for scheduling (including Resource loading for LRIP). - SDD CostView (Finance System) for both labour and non-labour costs.
- Works Authorisation Report (SDD WAR) for booking governance.
- Predict (Risk Database) for management of risks.
- Provide project data on an ad hoc basis to assist the CAM with day-to-day management and informed decision-making.
- Support the CAMs in the resource planning process.
- Support the CAMs in the Estimating Process for new/existing scope of work (ETCs).

Support the CAM and Programme Management at reviews, including: -

- The SDD Integration Review.
- The LRIP Systems Engineering Business Review.
- The SDD/LRIP Quarterly Estimate at Completion.
- The SDD Comprehensive Estimate at Completion (CEAC)
- Maintain a good working relationship with our customers and colleagues.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE COST AND SCHEDULE INTEGRATOR

- Project management experience is essential.
- PMDY awareness/APMP qualification desirable.
- Competent use of Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and at least one Cost Management Tool (Artemis, Cobra) or equivalent.
- Able to undertake multiple tasks concurrently.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- The successful candidate must have a diplomatic and tactful manner and be capable of working under their own initiative.
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, have proven problem solving abilities and astute organisational skills.
- The successful individual will also need good communication skills and be capable of operating within multidiscipline teams with both UK and international partners.

The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds
