CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY SPECIALIST needed for a six (6) month contract opportunity covering a maternity leave with SAP AMERICA located in PALO ALTO, CA OR NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Supporting all CSR-related activities/projects globally/regionally.
- Planning, recruiting and execution of Month of Service events across North America, 375 events in 40 locations. Support team leads in driving our corporate signature initiative.
- Supporting overall delivery of the CSR plan.
- Supporting the team lead by providing insight from individual research, as well as from collaboration with stakeholders (internal/external) and insights from regions, market segments, and industry sectors information on events and opportunities that are aligned with the SAP CSR strategy.
- Supporting execution of CSR plan by managing specific projects and deliverables that interpret the CSR plan in collaboration with stakeholder/team members as appropriate and which promote the executive thought leadership platform of the Board member(s). Deliverables may be by region, market segment or industry sector.
- Supporting alignment of budget appropriation with objectives.
- Managing and tracking all reporting for CSR to ensure team meets KPIs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support CSR signature initiative - SAP High schools - mentoring program and driving content planning.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Diploma or BA in Business Administration/Communications or related area desired (or equivalent education).
- Understanding of IT market .
- Several years of experience in hands-on design and implementation of communications concepts and plans as well as delivery perception changing communications including the area of employee-based communication.
- Experience in communications to more than one influencer type (media, bloggers, analyst, governments officials, employee communications).
- Knowledge in CSR/Sustainability.
- Events management experience.
- Comfortable with interpreting implications of corporate strategy for various communications disciplines.
- Professional communicator who is not shy to express opinions and consult others on communications activities.
- Minimum knowledge in hands-on design and implementation of communications concepts and plans.
- Self-motivated and team oriented.
- Flexible and able to cope with stress.
- Experienced in handling confidential material.
