Corporate Facilities Manager

My client, a market leading financial services client based in Hertfordshire is looking for a Corporate Facilities Manager to work on a permanent basis.

Key accountabilities for this role are:

Accountable for the overall management and provision of Corporate Facilities across all sites, including the delivery of multi-disciplinary activities which include Health & Safety, Property Strategy, and Environmental Management within the built environment and their impact upon people and the workplace.
Accountable and ensures that the Facilities organisation and processes provide a high level of customer service and Operational resilience in a safe and fit for purpose environment. Providing direction to the team to ensure that the best possible level of service is available for both Projects and BAU.
Accountable for maintaining the companies Health and Safety provision, ensuring that the client continues to meet the OHSAS18001 and other requirements.
To ensure a safe environment is provided for all staff (permanent and contractors) within all the client's premises. Encourage safe working practices and seek to identify and reduce risks to the lowest extent possible in accordance with the aims of a Best Practise organisation
Accountable for shaping and delivering the client's property strategy (rents, rates and leases) whilst also liaising and influencing the business to ensure a flexible response to future business needs and direction.

The role covers many areas, and decisions are needed quickly on a daily basis. Have to be able to react to situations and questions and problem solve on the go.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Relevant Corporate Facilities Management experience and/or a similar role in a larger organisation
Health & Safety qualifications - IOSH, NEBOSH

Demonstrable experience with Management Systems and specifically 18001 and 14001 as well as CRC and Environment Improvement Programmes and activities - and a similar qualification or experience
