Corporate Credit Risk Analyst/Contract

Leading global bank is looking for a Corporate Credit Risk Analyst to manage the credit risk profile for a portfolio of clients and acting on negative trends at an early stage. The role holder will assist in developing the bank's risk appetite and draft credit applications in line with the annual review schedule and related to individal transactions as well as for new clients.

Responsibilities:

- Management of a distinct portfolio of counterparts to minimise credit losses.
- Front-to-end credit risk management including counterparty financial analysis, determinations of internal risk rating and regular monitoring of counterparty performance.
- Demonstrate sound credit judgement in analysis and approval/decline of new transactions (inc cash lending, trade finance and derivatives).

Requirements:

- Good Credit Risk knowledge and practical experience within the banking sector.
- Extensive product knowledge including derivatives, lending and trade finance.
- Strong analytical background which can be applied to counterparty analysis.
- Good working knowledge of modelling techniques and credit grading models.
