Corporate Communications Advisor

Corporate Communications Advisor x4; London; 12 months; £510/day

My client, a well known public sector organization is looking to recruit a Corporate Communications Advisor for a 12 months contract in London. The ideal candidate needs to have ample experience of managing major Events.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Plan and manage internal and external communications campaigns/projects effectively.
*Support in developing and delivering an agreed communication strategy and plan for each policy issue or business priority.
*Produce communications briefs which demonstrate the understanding and application of research.
*Identify and flag risks associated with the communications campaign/project.
*Liaise with policy leads to agree a communications approach that matches resourcing.
*Manage communication projects to time and budget across all delivery channels.
*Be the subject expert for these communication channels and share expertise with communication colleagues.

Skills and Experience Required:
*Ability to develop briefs and turn into compelling event programmes that deliver strategic value to the organisation and UK companies
*Experience of a broad range of Events allowing the role holder to draw on extensive experience
*Budget design and management
*Ability to negotiate effectively with senior personnel Highly effective communicator - both written and oral Tenacity and professionalism Creative design

Experience Required
*Experience of managing major Events such as: ARAB Health; GREAT WEEKS, Mobile World Congress

Security Clearance:
*BPSS (DS) - Baseline Personnel Security Standard (with a Disclosure Scotland)

Additional Information:
*The ideal candidate will have Events experience and will have previously worked on public sector projects. There will be some overseas and domestic travel and expenses will be covered.
