Corporate Audit Manager III

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a CORPORATE AUDIT MANAGER III to join our client, the world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively plan, coordinate, and conduct periodic audits of IS processes, systems and operational areas in accordance with approved annual audit plans.
- Interacts with senior and mid-level management.
- Manages and cultivates key relationships to ensure that Corporate Audit' scope of work and the objectives of the organization are completed in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Provides appropriate leadership and mentoring to Corporate Audit staff to achieve audit goals and objectives.
- Exercises excellent judgment and initiative in handling business issues of significance to Corporate Audit, Information Systems and the Company.
- Discharges responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with The Institute of Internal Auditors Code of Ethics, Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Statement of Responsibilities and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and three (3) years of directly related experience OR Bachelors degree and five (5) years of directly related experience OR Associates degree and ten (10) years of directly related experience OR High school diploma/GED and 12 years of directly related experience.
- Advanced degrees in computer science, accounting finance, business administration or in a life science related area.
- Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CPA and MBA are strongly preferred.
- Five (5+) years of progressive experience in information systems, auditing, compliance and/or operations.
- Two (2+) years of supervising, and executing various IS audit projects.
- Two (2+) years of general controls, application controls, information security, and data experience.
- Two (2+) years of analysis, vulnerability assessments/penetration studies, and intrusion.
- Two (2+) years of detection and SSAE16 etc.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in previous roles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- External audit (eg, Big Four) and/or internal audit (eg, Fortune 500) experience is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP (SAP) systems, COSO and COBIT.
- Knowledge and understanding of internal control framework Pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience.
