The successful Business Application support officer will be expected to manage the business applications service provision for the corporate environment. Assisting the Corporate Applications Manager in the working relationship with the IS assurance team on the delivery of IT/Services via IT Outsourced Partner to support these business applications
You will be supporting the delivery of IS supplier relationships and where relevant, their interfaces with IT Outsourced Partner. Operating appropriate systems controls and procedures to enable the organisation to efficiently deliver its objectives, including support in development of relevant policy requirements.
Supporting the Corporate Applications Manager in the development process for corporate business applications, including change requests and new requirements
Assist in the delivery and maintenance of the Mobile Communication Device (MCD) policy including the generation of monthly Agency and user cost analysis to the Corporate Applications Manager
In order to qualify for this position you should have the following skills and experience:
Technical and commercial background obtained in a Financial Services organisation with good experience in delivery of business application support and related service contracts. Familiarisation of the applications required in head office environments is also required.
Proven track record in the delivery and development of key business improvement initiatives generating value added solutions to the benefit of the stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and credibility with senior management and other internal and external stakeholders.
Business application contract and vendor management support experience.
Proven capability in the delivery of Service Level Agreements with business application providers
Experience of development and review of business application continuity plans, and proposing change as a result of changing requirements
Experience of software support delivery and services commonly used in a Financial corporate environment
Experienced in implementation, development and management of core financial software
