Projektbeschreibung

Leading tier 1 bank is currently seeking a Corporate Action specialist to work within their Operations team on a large scale programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing equity and Fixed Income corporate action events across the EMEA and ASPAC regions. The Corporate Actions Specialist will report into a team supervisor who reports into the group manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collation and publication of relative data for each specific Corporate Action issue from information provided.
- Front to back risk management across Elective and some Mandatory events
- Notifying all position holders (Firm, Stock lending, Swap and PB clients) with event information within 24 hours of receipt and keeping them fully updated with the event terms throughout the life of the event.
- Reconciliation of Global Markets security holdings on internal systems across all entities.
- Daily communication with position holders including any Arbitrage opportunities.
- Management of risk to the firm and receipt and application of instructions received, against the security holdings.
- Timely Payment and reconciliation of all entitlements due to internal and external clients against receipts on securities that are subject to corporate actions.
- Management of risk, collating and applying instructions for any elective events against the security holdings.
- Allocation of new securities to position holders where stock is received as the result of a corporate action.
- Liaise with internal and market counterparts to achieve satisfaction of claims due in respect of open/failing trades.
- Management and active resolution of break items.
- Support and cover for team colleagues during period of extensive volume, holiday and cross training.
- Adhere to Corporate hygiene in a timely manner
- Understand and adhere to Restricted List and Sanction processes
- Support any market and business initiatives
- Daily management of Alerts and Checklist tasks

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- AT LEAST 2-5 years Corporate Action experience in a Broker Dealer environment is a must
- Exposure to PB, Swap, Firm or Stock Lending beneficial
- Able to deal with high pressure situations and ability to prioritise in a timely manner
- Good risk management approach
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Educated to A-Level standard as a minimum
