Corporate Actions Processing Administrator

My client is a global Investment organisation based in central Edinburgh.

Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all corporate action event types in the UK market. Will be required to work in a high risk, high volume and fast paced environment. Responsible for ensuring the successful processing of clients' high value corporate actions instructions within competitive and challenging deadlines. Accurate posting of clients' corporate action entitlements and the reconciliation of market positions versus in house systems. Should be capable of working in a pressurised area dealing with significant peaks of volumes. Able to prioritise and focus on the must urgent and important task.

Investment background, someone who is comfortable working with spreadsheets and large amounts of data, but can also work with lots of different events (issues, files) at the same time. Someone who is used to working to deadlines.

Knowledge of Crest system and vendor source information in relation to Corporate Actions preferred but not essential
