Core CS/PS Optimisation & Performance Engineer
Our client a leading telecommunications company currently has an urgent need for an experienced Core CS/PS Optimisation & Performance Engineer with in depth knowledge of 2G/3G (GSM/UMTS) domains and optimisation skills and methods. As the Core CS/PS Optimisation & Performance Engineer you will analyse the network performance from and end-to-end perspective, identifying issues such as congestion, network parameter tuning and customer complaints and provide the associated recommendations. You will also be responsible for reviewing, approving deliverables and holding technical presentations to technical teams and top management.
Essential Skills:
- Must have experience in a Mobile Operator environment as an NPO (2 - 3 years).
- Knowledge in 2G/3G Core fields of PS & CS Network is required.
- Very strong communication skills in meetings, conferences and presentations etc.
- Probing experience - Tektronix, Astellia, Tekelec, Traffica, Huawei Genex, Wireshark, Netscout etc.
- Good knowledge of signalling and protocol layers eg lu, lub, A, Abis, MAP, CAP, INAP, ISUP... etc.
- Engineers with experience in Ericsson and ZTE is ideal but other vendors such as NSN, Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent etc will be considered.
