ROLE - Copywriter - Retail Banking - Channel Simplification - Digital Banking - London - £280/day

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Our client, a leading UK retail bank require the services of a Copywriter to work on the Sales and Service Channel Model working within the Simplification Initiative. 

The Channel Simplification programme is currently delivering an Advice and Guidance service to the existing Online Banking and Mobile Banking sites. Changes will include providing our customers with an enhanced FAQ functionality to enable them to find information quickly online.

CORE SKILLS

- Interpreting user interface specs and technical documentation.
- Writing with technical discipline (eg, adhering to technical documentation).
- Writing creatively: eg, reproducing different tones of voice - dependent on brand - within the constraints of technical parameters.
- Liaising with the content management system team in order to resolve content load issues and queries.
- Contributing copywriting expertise to stakeholder review workshops - and maintaining a comprehensive and knowledgeable overview of all types of content that fall within the role's remit.
- Remaining diligent throughout the end-to-end content production process; eg copy creation - copy amendment - copy load into CMS.

DESIRED SKILLS

- Significant copywriting experience for a range of digital projects.
- Extensive experience of writing copy to structured technical documentation.
- Knowledge of the principles behind content management systems.
- Familiarity with a range of stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with agile methods is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent copywriting skills and solid grammatical expertise.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Familiarity with the full range of technical documentation used in large web and mobile projects.
- Confident with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- An impeccable eye for detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team, but also able to use own initiative as required.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and delivery focused environment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The role will support project and business stakeholders in the creation and delivery of content for a high-profile digital transformation programme. This transformation will be delivered across a range of platforms.
