Copywriter Job

SENIOR COPYWRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Walnut Creek, California.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Copywriting experience
- Strong proofing/copy editing skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Primary work will be on a variety of print collateral, toolkits, communications to customers, advertising.
- Work closely with designers and project manager
- Work collaboratively with business partners

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA degree in Communications or Advertising
- Five to seven (5 - 7) years of experience copywriting in an advertising agency or in-house advertising department environment required
- Strong proofing/copy editing skills are desirable. Examples of some of the projects: brochure designs for business partners, high-level internal branding efforts, maintaining brand consistency, developing style guides.
- Ability to think both strategically and creatively, and create innovative solutions to not so creative challenges
- Genuine desire to produce product with the customer in mind, strong customer focus
- Understand the business and industry of internal clients and external customers
- Highly organized. Ability to use initiative and work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
- Being able to handle multiple requests simultaneously
