CONTRACT 6 MONTH WITH LIKELY EXTENSION
LOCATION - BRUSSELS
Digital Copywriter required for my client, to facilitate in the renewal of its major public site. Their public site it a major part of my client's digital transformation programme, this site will be of huge importance for their marketing and sale operation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain tremendous experience in a large scale global digital transformation programme.
DIGITAL COPYWRITERS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling content packages and (re)writing them into copy that is adapted to different digital channels, such as tablets, smartphone, laptops and desktops.
- Using knowledge of SEO to make the delivered content as SEO proof as possible, thus making the information easy to find.
- Ensure good communication with your team
- Translating and changing original brief into the required content
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS - IMPORTANT
- English speaking candidates - excellent English written and spoken with good knowledge of written French.
- French speaking candidates - excellent French written and spoken with good knowledge of written English.
EXPERIENCE
- Experienced copywriter (min. 3 years) in Dutch or French language
- Proven experience in writing for digital media (web and (preferred) mobile)
- Search Engine Optimized writing
- Visual copywriting skills is a plus
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
- Ability to translate content to different digital touch points (PC, iPhone, iPad, )
- Knowledge of Metadata
- Knowledge of AdWords
- SEO and SEA
- Social media (writing skills)
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
- Fluent in translation French to English or English to French
- Strict discipline to write in a fairly strict canvas and templates with a strict definition of length, approach and style
- Spelling and grammar in own language 100%
- Good understanding of written language in the other language (Dutch or French)
SOFT SKILLS
- Able to work independently, manage own deliverables
- Ability to cope with criticism and changes in the
- Ability to work with deadlines/under stress
- Team player
- Proactive in defining, identifying and communicating room for improvement in process
- Reporting of achievements as well as efficiency improvement opportunities
- Organizational skills
- Good communication skills
