An experienced Copyright the primary purpose of this position is to obtain copyright permissions.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Obtain new permissions and renew existing permissions for the organisations materials
- Liaise with publishers and external rights owners
- Maintain audit and record of existing permissions and rights
- Create and maintain a register of permissions and rights
- Streamline and automate processes to ensure they are as efficient and effective as possible
- Ability to liaise and negotiate with external suppliers
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of copyright requirements
- Understanding of compliance issues
- Experience of obtaining permissions and rights
- Experience of recording and maintaining permissions information
