Coordinator, Scientific Review and Mini-Grant, Office of Medical Resea

The University of Nevada School of Medicine, Office of Medical Research is seeking a Scientific Review and Mini Grant, Coordinator.

This position will report to the Mountain West Clinical Translational Research - Infrastructure Network (CTR-IN) Project Coordinator and under the general supervision of the CTR-IN Principal Investigator, is seeking individuals to manage the activities of the Scientific Review and Mini-Grant Unit of the Administrative Core Key Component Activity (KCA) for the Mountain West CTR-IN. The CTR-IN is a consortium involving 13 Universities in 7 states in partnership with the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The ideal candidate will perform the following;

• Provide support to the External Advisory Committee and Scientific Reviewers
• Pilot Grants Coordination
• Visiting scholarships and mini-sabbaticals coordination
• Ad Hoc panel reviews for external grant proposals coordination
• The ability to work with a team of colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
