COO OFFICE - MARKET RISK - INVESTMENT BANK

A global investment bank have a fantastic opportunity for an experience consultant or chief operating office aligned professional to play a key role in co-ordinating market risk standards and controls.

Working in the COO Office for Market Risk you will work with senior stakeholders up to MD level, and occasionally the ExCo, being responsible for managing the market risk committee agendas, preparing senior meeting materials, drafting minutes, maintaining committee action trackers as well as other ad hoc tasks.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex-consultant or excellent co-ordination professional with good stakeholder engagement skills and knowledge of market risk processes and functions to gain exposure to very senior stakeholders across the business.

- 3+ years post-qualification investment banking experience
- Knowledge of investment banking processes ideally in market risk
- Knowledge of market risk management frameworks and controls is ideal
- Previous experience co-ordinating technical governance committees beneficial
- Knowledge of MS Office required; SharePoint knowledge highly beneficial
- BSc educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This is a contract role compensated at £350 - £400/day initially for six months.
